MEDICARE
As a registered Allied Health Professional in Australia, Chiropractors is claimable through Medicare via the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program. Through the EPC rogram, if you are suffering from a chronic disease or illness, including musculoskeletal pain, you are eligible for five (5) Allied Health Professional services per calendar year.
At our clinic, although we accept EPC, visits require a gap payment.
The EPC Program is by referral only and needs to be planned through your GP. You are able to utilise the whole 5 treatments on Chiropractic or a combination of other treatments. This is decided by your needs and should be discussed by your GP. It is also your choice in which clinic you choose to receive treatment, although the GP may recommend another clinic or service.
You will need to bring your EPC referral and Medicare card to your appointment.
